A Mario and luigi battle system?

I am Making a Mario and Luigi fan game and need one BADLY!!!!!!! If somebody could give or make one for me please?

He was talking about Superstar Saga / Partners in Time.

If he were looking for a sidescroller/platform, he would have said SUPER MARIO BROS. instead of MARIO AND LUIGI, right?

And for that battle system, i believe i havent seen a battle system of that.
