I'm making a zombie rpg in a kind of post apocalyptic setting (think fallout with more feral ghouls), wandering if anyone would want to play this game and has any ideas?

Find resources? What's stopping you from making your own resources?
You could make it so that you have a large amount of possible people to add to a team, and you move from place to place, trying to get to some locations, but depending on which order you go to the places and how well you do, influences how well you do. And to give it that 'survival' aspect, you could make it permadeath for the characters. So as you play through the game, you slowly lose people, and because you lost person X you can longer do Y as well, which effects your team. Sure you can replace said person with someone else from the pool, but that pool is finite and they have different skills and capabilities.
