I know I'm obliged to hate this sort of thing and the really perfunctory j-pop backbeat is really offputting, but if you look past that it is the most impressive mario romhack I have basically ever seen, even just considering the amount of effort and trial and error it would have taken.

mario romhacks are pretty terrible in general, so it's refreshing to see someone entirely reinvent them.
