[XP]-Eventing a Regen and Reflect Skill?

I'm working on a project for general use called "The Ultimate Database", which is going to deliberately be a 'new' game with a fully created database with tons of pre-set actors, classes, skills, everything...

But overall, its most important emphasis is the Events (namely, the Common Event systems) that run with the game and make all the magic happen. Right now I'm working on Evented skills, and I'm pretty confident in making steal/mug skills, drian/osmose skills, but I'm clueless on how to get started doing a Regen skill and a Reflect skill. Anybody have any advice on how I should pull it off?

I think Regen would be healing some amount of HP or SP every turn. Do you want it to be a set % of the max HP (like slip damage), or a numerical value?

And Reflect would make you counter certain spells?

Why do I insist on checking this forum late at night when I have no brain...? Ah well, here's my two cents.

For the Regen Spell, is it possible to have it call a comment event that replenishes HP after so many frames? Well, I guess that wouldn't work too well in battle. On the world map, yes; battle, not so much.

As for reflect...Maybe have a way to make it so the game reads how much damage you take when the skill is on, then subtract that damage from your character and add it to the monster?

Hope this helps any, although I really don't know. XD

The regen is simple to do, but it's so much faster with a script.  If you want it evented, make the common event, and call it every turn with every enemy.  Tedious.

The reflect...I'm not sure what you mean.

You'd need to create a version of the skill that targets the caster and/or allies, though, and I'm not sure how that would work if, for example, one PC had reflect and one didn't.
