Basically, I was wondering if it'd be possible to take your usual time and weather system (just as deep as morning, afternoon, evening, night) but make it so that if it were raining all the characters on screen would change graphics?
For example, have a file named chris.png but also one called chris_rain.png and when it's raining, it switches all charasets on the map to their orginal filename with _rain on the end? Then have it switch back when it stops raining?
