part of a big illustration i'm working on now, thought I would try to get some critiques before I finalized the design. I should also mention she's an SD (Super Deformed).

I'd say, give her less lip, that's what I see about your art, to much lip, for my taste at least, otherwise, I like a lot, you've come a long way, and in such a short time too.

@harsvalen: Thanks alot i've been doing arts for about 1 year and 2 months now so I'd like to think that my style is evolving after every finished piece.

I actually like how you do the lips as it's more expression defining! :thumb:

I too would ditch the triangles from your cell shade, the don't match at all!

I like jinx coloured! It's a great piece of work! (I can't draw females to save my life... not sure how it could save my life but that's irrelevent)

Nice to see you coming along xcelled ^^ I really like the layout and theme of your latest piece and now your siggy. Cell Shading is actually something I've not really delved into so I like to see others who do.

Oh...and the "V" highlights...doesn't do much for the other piece.  IMO. :P

I'd love to see you practice some life drawing. You have so much stuff in generic anime styles that I wonder if that's all you're able to do. I think it's seriously holding you back.

here ya go missingno XD a realism attempt, I should mention that i sketch realism a lot but this is my first digital attempt. As you can see im not really good at it yet, but it was a fun challenge.

I use a photo of myself for a reference.

What is that coming out of her eye? It looks really odd.

o its her hair lol. I didn't want to cover her eye, but yeah it is confusing xD.

You should probably either just go and cover the eye or just do away with the bottom part completely. Right now it looks like she has super-thick and long bottom eyelashes. Also, that lock would be really asymmetrical compared to the rest of her hair which isn't really that big a deal since it's a hairstyle.

Those non-anime ones look 10,000% better than your anime... I'd love to see more, although the anime gives my brain heartburn.
