XAS_Hero how do i make an ememy?

I know how to make an enemy and so they attack you, the probem is that i dont know how to get it so they have their own sfx and attack sprites if that makes sence? please can someone explain the process to me. thankyou.
 
Thank you =] and by sfx i mean the noice the enemy make when they attack you for example the Scorpion makes a pig sound, i would just like to know how to change it to a sound of my choice.

I'm not sure what you mean by sfx though. You mean a specific song or what?
 
Hmm I'm confused...All I know is that all attacking animations come with their own sound effect...One way to change the sound effect of attacking (though tedious) is to go to animation in database, go to the specific animation of that monster and change the sound effect that way. I'm not sure how to do this if it's just a basic attack with no animation though. But I'm pretty sure you have attack animations.

sorry im not that good with scripts im just trying to figure out the XAS_Hero ABS for my game.

Dark Squall, when the enemy "swings his sword" it's considered a tool/skill, so you need to create a separate tool in the tools map. In that tool, you can use "Play SE:" and define the sfx you want to play.
 
cheers again Regi i think iv finally grasped the whole XAS_Hero ABS now =] just to let you know iv been working on a game for a year well... when ever i have had spare time and i really wanted to replace my old ABS when i found XAS_Hero. Its looking pretty good now... maybe one day i'll finally finish it =]
