Worldmap

[gRaViJa]

I created this worldmap using paint.net
It's the first time i used that (free) program and i must say it's very good. I also have photoshop and paint.net loosk like a good basic edition of it. Anyway, comment is very welcome.

You made that withe MS Paint? Wow good job, I could never do that.

Criticism:
The ocean and land look legit, but I would add more texture to the river, icecaps, and cloud.
Other than that good job!

@Xaixis - I think you misunderstood what gRaViJa said, he did NOT use MS Paint. He used a Free program called Paint.net to create the world map.

@gRaViJa - The idea and concept behind the map are very good. However, this low quality rendition of it is terrible. It looks like something from 1994 in 256 colors. No offense or anything, but I think you'd be better off making the map into a parchment style map, like the ones you see below.

Good luck with the map, it still needs quite a bit of work to make it look good, but your off to a great start!

i'm pretty noob at creating these things, i'll try to make the snow and rivers better first. After that ill give the parchment look a go, but i'm unsure how it will turn out. Thanks for the feedback

Middle Earth wasn't created in some kind of computer-program :]
It is drawed on normal parchment-paper.

That embossed texture on the water is far too much.  Subtlety is key.
