World of Warcraft... Just aint the same =/

Yeah, Robin Williams is socially inept, as is Tony Danza and a bunch of other people who pretty much depend on their social skills too.

I would say that I am perfectly fine with my social life. I go to dances, flirt, hand with friends, go to movies... :toot:

Life before WoW. To me it's something I play when I can't find anything to do... which isn't all that often, mostly during long school breaks.. other then that I can barely enough time for life itself (school and swimming)

The stereotypes on WoW go for gamers in general. I'm fully involved socially and I'm in the military, yet I play WoW almost daily I have a character full epic, in a high ranked guild, and raid regularly. Some people just like to play more so than go out. No one has the right to judge them because they're not out partying and all that shit.

More so on the actual subject I think the game is taking a turn for the better, but it's just getting old to some of the pre-bc players. There's a lot of new stuff they've added to PvP, but the PvE part is as repetitive as the first expansion.

Yes. For one, they've GREATLY improved drop quests by making the items drop way more often, which is a fucking godsend. Usually only have to kill 3-10 mobs at MOST to get even a 2 drop quest done. They've improved it in many many ways, but PvP is still just too damn short. It just comes down to whoever can get that lucky 10k crit off. Enhancement Shamans are insanely overpowered, now. The wolves they summon do so much damage and heal the shaman on top of that.. it's just ridiculous.

YES!! IM ENHANCEMENT... haha, wait the wolves can heal me?

Also I was curious, how many of you guys actively play? I know that there is a list of all the names of peoples gaming names, but it seems outdated. So... how many of you actively play? I was thinking about moving my char since the realm is almost always locked. (Earthen Ring). Probably not anytime soon since I have a bunch of mid-term stuff I need to study for, but I think it would be cool to play with the community. Even start up a guild of some-kind would be cool O.o. Lol I dunno, but anyways back to the original question.

When I made this post I was actually expecting a lot less replies, I thought WoW was somewhat of a frowned upon (for lack of a better word(s)) game here. So it kinda interested me I got so much response.

Yeah, they heal for a percentage of the damage they deal, and they improve the shaman's run speed, and they have a stun (each, so 2 stuns) and they attack very fast. They're fucking stupidly overpowered. My level 70 enhance friend beat an 80 DK on his own because of those fucking wolves. So goddamn ridiculous.

Anyway.. I play regularly. Have a 76 disc/holy priest and a 72 hunter on Kalecgos server, and a 71 druid on Blackhand server.

Oh shit, I only have my 71 Enhance Shaman, well I also have a 61 draei shamie but I don't play that toon anymore

I play when I have time, recently though I can't because of my studying for mid-terms

Yay, got my priest to level 80 today. Just wanted to share that with y'all.
Awesome!

I personally can't really get ahead for awhile for I have midterms all week long and I need to constantly study =(

But awesome! I think that once I get some more time I might either join or start up and RP guild, give the playing style some flavor lol

WoW (And pretty much every other MMO) has lost it's luster in the past year. I used to play for a while and loved it, but it got boring after a week or so. Just not worth the fees :blank: . I'd rather go play Xbox Live.

(I'm assuming this is a general WoW topic? Sorry if not.)

It's not addicting at all.. in fact, I wanted to level up a paladin so I could have a tank, but everything before the expansions is so.. fucking.. boring. Just, oh my god. I can't believe I played this game as long as I have. The expansions add new life/fun/excitement to the game and make it way more playable, but you have to get to level 60 first.. Luckily my paladin only needs 7 more levels, ugh.

ive played wow for about 3-4 years and id have to say im massively disappointed on what blizzard have done they killed what i loved about it and i dont find much motivation to play it much. Ive often thought of transferring to a different game but im not to sure what what would you guys recommend

i play wow on and off. when i first got it i played for 3 months non stop. then i quit for a few months then i went back. basicly i get bored, play it, then get bored of it
also, having a good guild makes it fun to play. my guildies have not been on much, so i have no reason to play.
i have a lvl 63 druid, 65 hunter, 73 death knight. and yes it's addicting, that's how they have so many players.

as far as other games... erm, no... well, i've tried all the free ones, they suck, i used to play runescape, back when it first came out, played for 1 year, but it's kinda outdated, i guess it can be fun still.

it's my belief that if you have a mind, you will eventually get bored of any MMO, the question is when. now, for some people, like that video someone posted (sadly adults too) they never get bored because their mind is melted by games.... :(

if we insist on pouring DAYS (game time) into a game, it might as well be one with and ending. in other words non MMO. mmo's catch people by having an unending game. just grab a nice console game. i'm currently playing azure dreams. then the old classic like mario and zelda is awesome...

well, laterz
