Why haven't you played this game yet?

Undoubtably one of the most inventive, genre defying computer games around, World of Goo has writing as good as (read: better) than Portal, gameplay more genius than any game by EA or other large corporations, and best of all, a genuine sense of fun. Also it's an indie game. Woot.

Though the game is $20, the computer version gives a free trial to about 20% of the total game. The game is also on WiiWare, I believe. You should find it with a Google search. So, yeah. Play this game.

The game's been out for a while, finally got around to buying it a few weeks ago. Man, is it ever addicting, I have it on the Wii, definitely worth it. It's creative, challenging, and very easy to get into. I had a few miffs about the game (some levels were a bit frustrating, and the music got repetitive after a while) but I liked it a lot.

Fun fact: This game was made entirely by three really dedicated guys, and really, two of them did most of the work.

Indeed. Chapter 3 is definately the most annoying, with levels like Upper Shaft and Strategic Demolition. Overall though, it's still a great game. Makes me wish I could use WiiWare.

I think those are the only two levels in the game I haven't beaten. :/

One of the best parts about the game is building the giant tower thing with hundreds of goo balls, although I can't seem to get more than 25 metres high. It's fun as hell watching those little goo balls fall to their death though. I love their little "death grunts".

If they ever release a sequel, they better include a level creator. >:D

They're more tedious than hard, actually. I found this cool blog (click) with videos for all the levels, maybe it'll help you out. I couldn't have done Second Hand Smoke, Mom's Computer, and the Recycling Bin without it. Also yeah, the tower builder is awesome. I'll post up my rank when I get the chance.
