World Map Feature.

Greetings,

I'm trying to implement a world map feature in my game, I'd like to call it in the Main Menu, Items section, you just press the key on the world map item and them the picture shows up, that I know how to do, what I don't know how to do is make the picture wait for a key press to go away, does anyone know of an easy and effective to do that by events?

Create a Conditional Branch and set it to if button [insert button here] is pressed, etc happens. Here's a screenshot:

The buttons are:

RMXP - Keyboard

A - Shift, Z
B - Esc, Num 0, X
C - Space, Enter, C
X - A
Y - S
Z - D
L - Q
R - W
 
The problem with that setup is that you've got an Action Button activated event there-- it won't run unless the player walks up to it and presses the "C" button.

There's two ways to do this-- do you want the way where the game pauses while the map is up, or the slightly-more-complicated one where they map appears and the player can move around at will, but can press a button to erase it?
