Ok, I'd been having major problems with my Internet and Network going down every few minutes, and having to reboot everything to get it work work.
So I moved ISP to Sky, from Virgin. Got a free new wireless router to go with it, a new IP address, new everything.
And still getting the same problems.
It's not on my laptop's end because my sister gets the same problem, i.e. the whole network goes down.
It's INCREDIBLY annoying.
Info:
Did have linksys 54mbps
I can't remember the details but it looked like this: http://www.zdnet.de/i/ar/mobile/superce ... wrt54g.jpg
Network cards all built-in laptop dealies.
Currently have whatever Sky ships, i.e. a broadband modem with built-in 54mbps wireless router.
There's an exterior wall between the router and me (extension), though I get the same issues if I sit in the extension.
There's a large business park across the road, idk if that would affect anything.
The router is also next to a power socket, idk if that would either.
The problems only started a few months ago but it's like really bad, going down at least once an hour. (At one point it was going off every few minutes)
Anyone have any ideas? Google didn't help.
