Your hair palette definately needs more contrast. Right now, I can't see the shading at all, so I can't comment on it.

The shading on the dress is a little odd. It makes a nice texture (is that heavy velvet?), but there isn't much shading except under her breasts. There should be some at the very least on her shoes - try to think about where the light (light is above and slightly left for standard sprites). Right now, they look pretty pillow shaded. And the same texture as the dress, which is odd. Most people wear leather shoes, not cloth.

You also need to shade the forehead and face where the hair would cast shadows on it.

For your blue palette, I think you need a shade that's darker than all the ones you have, to use on the bottom of the feet and dress instead of the rather light outline color you have now to make those areas look darker.

I also don't recomend using pure greys and blacks. For the steel, you'll get a much more effective steel color using an grey with some blue in it. For the hair, go with a red or brownish grey/black or a bluish grey/black, depending on if you want it to be a cool black or warm black. You can suggest black without being so dark, as well, look at the black hair on an RTP sprite for an example.

All in all, it's not a bad first attempt, but it still needs work.

Thank you, for your answer.
Yeah you´re right..the hairs..thats the difficulst thing.
Warm and cool blacks...damn i know i forgott something ^^
I will improve it so soon i can.
Under the "boobs" ...yah right, theres a little bit shading but not enough.
I will improve that to.
Thanks again for the answer.

Btw: and sorry again my bad english ':|

Shoes made of cloth are BAD ideas, since if you step in a puddle, your foot/socks are going to be wet and wet socks doesn't feel very good. :x

well, yeah. he's a traveler, and he wears cloth shoes! he looks like a dumbass, but the thing is, is that cloth shoes were all he could afford, since he's poor as , well. u know.

hold up, yeah i dont think your socks would get wet cuz anyone whose poor enough to be forced into cloth shoes, most likely wont be able afford socks.
which my char doesn't

Let's try not to get too off-topic here and actually critique the resource instead. I don't want this breaking into a debate over shoe materials. :x

Blo0dy, if you're having trouble with hair, I would suggest looking at Tana's hair lesson. It's in her tutorial, Lessons from Tana. Hope that helps a bit. I think ccoa pretty much summed it all up.
