(WIP) Guybrush Threepwood

After being asked for some criticism on a Guybrush Threepwood sprite, I took the liberty of making my own lil' Guybrush for RMXP. It's only the first front frame at the mo, but I took quite a delight in doing him. I might do some other frames and finish the character, as he was particularly easy to make. Took me about an hour, I'd say.

The sprite is based on the third one in this row, which is obviously from Monkey Island 3.

DUDE one whole hour on one frame, and you call it easy <,< you're one crazy..
but back to the sprite,
I love the blunt look :|, and the hair looks mighty fine *just like in the picture*
the only real critisism I have are the shoes, the outline is too dark and they are too squarish. finish it it looks great.

Thanks for the positive feedback, folks. I think his shoes are a little bit square, but he is made in the same mould as the RTP guys, except with a bit more likeability.

It takes a huge lack of taste to have a ginger hat, Raven!

On the idle frame his shoes look flat, almost like they're in a different perspective.

Cant say why, but I dont like the sideviews..
The heads look so... mmhh. I just dont know.
It looks strange with the hair... a lil bit like a legofigure wich gets hit by an car...
No just kidding... Not bad at all, but the head looks a little bit strange with the hair...
Maybe its this caroonish cel shaded hairstil... I like the style but... I dont know... Maybe it looks really cool with tilesets in this style...
Hope somebody can give u an advice to correct that a lil bit...
Everything else (idea included) 10/10 points...
