Thanks for pointing that out, I haven't noticed- and yes, the path's shading is a bit... eh. I might fix it but I'm not teh l33t autotiler so... i dunno.

but I really don't know what to do with it. Should the just be curved? Or what?
 
Much better. however there are still gaps in the "Outline" of the ciffs. and the shading on the dirt autotile has gaps and inconsistencies as well. Also , if I may make a suggestion. Lose the bottom outline on the foot of the cliff. It makes the cliff look like it's not attatched to the ground and honestly, I don't know why people keep doing this ^^;

Yeah, making autotiles is hard! I shall try your suggestion, and what do you mean I don't know why people keep doing this? Doing what?
