[WIP]Breeze IsoMetric

While i was on this forum i always saw the isometric script, and i was man i wana make a game like that would i don't think rtp style looks good in it, and i thought it over and decided that breeze would be a good style for isometric so i'm giving it a try =D

~ I'd like to get this going actually so if anyone wants to help please do so =D
I'm gona need someone to do the isometric sprite, i'm not so good at spiriting that stuff only objects =P and reposes

Update 6/5 - Added the new tileset and a character sprite WIP of breeze, still looking for any help
 
Basically let's say you have a cube. Looking at it from our point of view in regular view you can see the top and front side, knowing the back, sides, and bottom exist. Turn the cube, not the camera angle, to a 45 degree turn to the right. That is isometric. You have a good start here and if you finish this to look good I will add it to the Breeze Revolution since it will be the first of its kind, just as long as you put a lot of effort into it as I see you are.
 
Yup...it looks kinda weird for isometric. Maybe you can refer to spriter-resources and see the Megaman Battle Network rips.

That´s 45°.. So it´s called cavalier-perspective
isometric is ONLY 30°.. not more or less...



But, for 45° Tiles, it looks well done.

If you do with 30, it will screw up everything.

Much, much better. Just make sure that you change the way the roof os made as well. Give it some height and depth cause the plane-view looked like it was a flat roof.
 
ok thanks =) and i was thinking of making the roof like:
    ______
  /          \

or something like that, but for the triangle shape in iso, so i make it 1 pixel lines instead of 2?
 
One issue you're missing.... The 8-dir scripts make the character move at a 45 degree angle.... Thus they move diagonally, so the 23 degree version of iso (as seen on eboy) would (though looking better) not work.Draw a diagonal line, of Y=X, then try drawing Y=2X, notice the difference?

go with the first one. The 45 degree angle. ^_^ good work so far, keep it up.
