Now, the reason I am posting this here is because the site I am advertising for is a forum, and the Web Design and Coding sections says not to advertise forums.
Now, before I give you the lay-down on this contest for $50, I feel it is necessary to give a brief description of what my website is for. Parnon Barracks is (what I believe to be) the first "generic guild forum". It was my intention to create a large community. It was originally for my online gaming guild, but I realize now that there just aren't enough people in my guild for me to hoard a vBulletin license all to myself. So I've opened it up so any gaming guild can join, simply by requesting it.
If anyone wants to learn more about the site itself, feel free to PM me, but this thread isn't meant to advertise people to bring their guilds to Parnon Barracks, it's more to advertise the contest we're currently holding, with the winner earning $50.
As I stated, it was my intention to create a large online community for online gaming. But as it stands, my site doesn't have an abundance of activity. So, I'm holding what I've called "The Referral Race" to entice members to join, as well as increase overall activity on the board.
The basic gist of it: you sign up for the board, and get people to join with you as their referrer, and you accumulate points for it. First person to 50 points wins the $50 prize.
Full contest rules are viewable still advertising, I think?
