Will you be getting the H1N1 vaccine?

Many countries (including my own) are starting or have already started to roll out vaccinations for the H1N1 flu virus. However, there's a large amount of people who in polls have stated that they do not intend on getting the vaccine.

So are you planning on getting it? And if not, why?

Personally, I'm not going to get it. My parents are largely against vaccines, and I don't think I've gotten a shot since I was six years old. It's not that I don't think they're effective - I'm just a little hesitant about the longterm effects of the vaccine, and I'm not entirely comfortable with getting chemicals injected into my body. (and the fact that needles terrify me to no end)

Sorry, but there is no way that the vaccination is what developed Dystonia in her body. She developed it through other means and is assuming that the vaccination is what triggered it. Quit applying your New World Order theories every time the government or a government agency does something.

Me, I may be getting it at some point in the future, provided I'm not feeling too lazy. It's always a good idea to stay prepared, and the verified risks seem minimal.

Who the fuck said anything about NWO or whatever the fuck you're talking about. And 'every time the government' does something? I barely post here! I'm not saying 'TEH GUVMENTS GONNA GIT US'. I'm just saying that there are correlations of medical side effects to vaccinations.

This is true as well.

It's not a case of 'I'd get the vaccine if it wasn't for this bizarre news article'. I had no plans of getting the shot anyway. I've never had the flu shot before, and it was never really a big deal to me then, neither is it now. Call me when the Grey Death is declared a pandemic.

i don't think i'd trust the 1st wave of any vaccine popped out in a matter of months. its hard for me to believe it was tested as thoroughly as necessary.

My parents want me to get it, but I am NOT having it. <_< Who knows what are the side-effects? They say a woman got disabled, and a girl got Dystonia. Maybe the vaccine wasn't really the reason, but I don't wanna risk for sure.
