Apparently, Wikipedia knew about the death of Chris Benoit's wife's death a day and a half before the police did. Discuss.

Maybe someone took a random guess? Since Wiki can be edited by ANYONE, it could have just been some random guess.

I doubt it, since the IP of the person who posted it is generally around that area. Besides, how would someone guess it before Chris would even know?

Anyone can guess. Oh, I guess that Paris Hilton will kill her sister. Let me go put that on her wikipedia page, and maybe it'll happen the next day. Lucky coincidence. And, for the record, I have no clue who this guy is.

Besides, now that I see who this is, maybe someone thought it would be funny to make a joke. Or maybe they believed that was what it was or could eventually happen, or heard it from some source that speculated it. I doubt there is anything odd going on.

Unless someone sees something there I don't, I'd call that a suicide notice. Sounds like someone wants the bodies to be found. It could, honestly, be very easy to figure out what happened when given other notices. Such as Benoit going home prior to a house show and a PPV where he was scheduled to wrestle, and the mental retardation (fragile X syndrome I believe) of his son Daniel, and then these text messages - not to mention the very "volatile" relationship he had with his wife that wasn't that well of a secret - it wouldn't be very hard to figure out in all honesty.

I didn't know of these, and I heard Chris Benoit and his wife Nancy, and their child Daniel were found dead - and the first thing that popped in my mind was murder-suicide
