Why dosn't this event work? (Conditional Branches)

My first page is activated by action button.  it is a choice event (that works) that leads to this page... (which is on a parallel process)

@>Control Self Switch: A=OFF
@>Conditional Branch: Switch [001] == ON
    @> Text: yadda yadda...
    @> Control Variables:[002: Random] = Random No. (1...100)
    @> COnditional Branch: Variable [002] <=50
        @>Text: yadda yadda 1-50
        Else
        @>Conditional Branch: Variable [002] >=51
              @> Text: yadda yadda 51-100

The event works up to the point of the first yadda yadda, so i know the correct switch is on.  its just not moving on to the second conditional branch.  what am i doing wrong?

You don't need the second conditional branch after else scene else is if its ot 1-50 witch would make it 51-100. I don't know if that would be the problem but it could be what was with it before or after mattering on what your doing.

What does "Control Self Switch: A=OFF" do?

If it's meant to stop the parallel process, it should probably be at the bottom.

yeah i know, but I try to avoid getting people in trouble if they are on the newer end of things. most of the time I just let them know and link them to the rules page, but I guess i'll just stop...( though this section of the forums could use another mod as there is only one...)

you don't have to stop. Just use the Report button, or PM the person diplomatically to avoid cluttering up threads with mod'ing.

Actually double posting IS allowed if there's a point to it.
I updated the rules, thank you much for alerting me of its error.
If you feel a rule is being flagrantly broken, please use the "Report to Moderator" button. If it's minor though, we have no problem with your helping to remind a member of what to do

sorry, just wanted to thank the person that fixed my problem...
