Why are so many members whiny about the administration?

Seriously, as of late all I've seen is people bitching and crying about the administrators and moderators.
They're not that bad, they're pretty decent people from the tidbit of what interaction I've had with them.

Sure, they can be sarcastic when they want. That's usually spawned from a few annoyingly idiotic people whiny about pretentious ideals and hypocritical freedoms bastardized by the grammar of a bludgeoned, dyslexic  infant. (That and it's pretty damn funny).

Oh well, this is my two pence.
(It'd be beautifully ironic if this gets locked for being in the wrong section).

Seriously, though, the people who bitch about the administration are either frustrated individuals who were warned or had their topics locked for breaking the rules but are too anal to admit they were wrong, or people who wish the administration and mods would be faceless figures who just go around solving their petty arguments without saying a word.

I guess they simply aren't used to the, ahem, blunt and "hands on" attitude the current mods and, Despain in particular, have. This isn't a place with rainbows and kittens frolicking around with the Mary Poppins soundtrack playing in the background. If you're an annoying prick, they're going to tell you, that should serve as incentive NOT to be an annoying prick.

Finally, people bitch because... they like to bitch. Face it, you can praise someone for 5 minutes, but you can bitch about them for 5 hours.

Most of them are either:

a, ex-banned or ex-warned people
b, from other forums, who have never even been here before
c, iceplosion

In all cases they have no valid opinion and are only bitching to get back at the mods/admins for whatever reason (either they hate the fact they got banned, whether or not for a valid reason; they were given bullshit about RMXP.org from another forum and want to be martyrs to their cause; or they're iceplosion).

There is no reason to hate the administration, we have Shadow, Vennie, and myself - how can we be hated.  Oh right, TREG and Des, and... wait I know I'm missing someone... someone... who is an administrator... but who?  Oh yeah, but no one can hate Cero, no one actually remembers d0.

Thing is, there's no reason to hate us.
I've never heard a reason.  I've heard people complain about personal differences with the current and past staff, and that was it.  No really.  Sand lot shit.  Things I wouldn't even brag about in 4th grade.  Granted, I'm not some super close personal friend of any of these people, but still.

Thing is it's a reputation.
We are the Ramones.  We will be hated by all but the cool crowd until we start dying off then , and only then will we appear on the Simpsons and we'll be looked to fondly by the masses.

There's only one valid reason I can think of that you shouldn't be admins - and that is that the position of admin is way too low, you should be like... high overlords, or gods or something. Wear a toga and pick some random female member to have a virgin birth, and you're all set  :thumb:

Well, the administration seem to be pretty swell, now that VenxtyCORP are here. I for one have found no reasonable complaints, but then I may be a tad biased.

P.S. seriously I'm easy in my moderating, and hell even easier in my administrating.  If someone says "derr... duh you doing it wornG" I actually listen.  We have many methods that no one uses to inform us that "derr... duh we doing it wornG" and almost no one is saying anything outside of "you suck".  So, let's hear it or all of you might as well be bitching about my hair, saying it's not luxurious when you know it is luxurious.
