Which banner is better?

I've decided that I should get with the crowd and make a banner for my game instead of using one of my userbars, and I've come up with a nice one, but then I decided something else and now I can't decide between the two, and if I combine them then it will be too much. :blush:

BEHOLD! The ripple effect.

BEHOLD! The shine effect.

BEHOLD... Uhhm... The shiny ripple effect?

I totally doubt if you combine the two that it will be an issue. INFACT! I think it would make your banner stand out more. That's my opinion. But if you really want to go with one or the other, just stick with the ripple effect.

The first one is hypnotizing, and has a cool effect. So I'd go with that one. :3

I guess I could try and put both of them together but I'm not sure how well it'll turn out, I'm gonna go and try it right, actually.

Yup yup! Maybe it could in making people download or talk about your game. "You'll like this game, you'll like this game". XD

They both look nice, though, and have nice little effect to them. Makes me want to do that to mine someday. :D

Ok, but I don't want to try that hypnotizing thing, because then people would accuse me of stealing that idea from the maker of "Ethereal Dreams". I've also put them together and they look absolutely awesome. I've updated the topic post with it in there.

Looks awesome, and you're right, I can't really tell the difference. I wish I could make animated banners.

Well you can for free, use gimp, but it's hard to make the gif images on it, but it's possible.

Yea the combination is beautiful, out of the ones ive seen urs seems to stand out quite a bit, good luck with tha game
