Whats better?

Is it worth getting rmvx over rmxp? i already have rmxp, you think i should get vx? what really changed between them two? Any new features? Also another quick question; anyone have any recommendations for a FREE sprite/tileset editor/creator? thanks everyone.

What would be better is a descriptive title to your thread, like, "What's better, XP or VX?"

On the second question. I use GIMP, and I like it a lot. It's more advanced, so not quite as user friendly / simple as some others.
I've heard many spriters like Graphics Gale, but I haven't tried it. It looks like it's pretty easy to use & learn.
And worst case, MS Paint will work.
