Geno woulda been better than Sonic, I'm sure. His moves lend themselves well to the Smash Bros. moveset mentality, and are a reasonable alternative to LET'S MAKE ALL OF HIS B-MOVES THE HOMING ATTACK OR SOME VARIANT THEREOF.

Earthbound is Mother is Earthbound is Mother is Earthbound. If it clucks like a chicken and walks like a chicken but the man across from you is calling it el pollo, it's probably still a chicken regardless of what crazy Spaniards think.

Having all B moves about the same? Fair's fair; Bomberman's B moves were similar. Half were Bomber Jet, half were bombs.

Please don't let this thread degenerate into a HULK VS BATMAN WHO WOULD WIN scenario topic. :P

Especially since that sort of power matching is meaningless in Smash Bros. anyway; between Yoshi (who can punck, kick, heabutt, and throw his asexually-produced offspring) and Snake (a stealth agent trained in heavy explosives, artillery, and most forms of murder) I'd go for the dude who actually kills people, but I've seen Yoshi come out on top a fair number of times anyway.

They're called the SORA INC. Balance Department. They make sure the platform is level even for professional murderers. (I think they were asleep when blue hedgehogs rolled onto the conveyor belt, though.)
