Looking for a cheap, old(well, ish. A year and a bit) game? Enchanted Arms. Its a JRPG, with a pretty good story, sexually confused protagonists and a unique and fun battle system.
Do what me and my friend did... Trade it in for a bunch of games to play in the 360.
Not that the PS3 is bad or anything, but unless your girlfriend has enough money to be your gaming sugar daddy the 360 is the better investment. The only thing you'd really miss is MGS4 (which is a deal-breaker.) FFvsXIII's gonna be shit, DMC4 sucks but you can play it on the 360, GTAIV is awesome and you can get it on the 360, SCIV is fun and you can get it on the 360, you can play Bioshock NOW, Oblivion sucks but you can get in on the 360, Rock Band is better on the 360 with Xbox live, Braid, Castle Crashers, TMNT Arcade (o/ if you were born in the 80s, the 80s o/), Gears of War... I guess :/, CoD4 which you can get on the 360, the Orange Box has updates on the 360 (or just get it on PC), Mass Effect is on the 360, Lost Odyssey is on the 360, Blue Dragon and Unlimited whatever and just about every other fucking RPG is on the 360 except for Tetsuya Nomura's shit FF game because he complained to the board of directors enough that they let him play with his own "pretend" FF game :P (*sewing the seeds of nerdrage*)

I dunno, I have about 15 ish games for both, and most of my 360 games are on PS3, while most of my PS3 games are exclusive.
I wouldn't trade my PS3 exclusives for my 360 exclusives. Lost Odyssey and Mass Effect weren't THAT good. MGS4 is.
All opinions of course.
Point is, if forced to chooses, I'd take Folklore, Warhawk, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Resistance, MGS4, Super Stardust HD, Pixeljunk Monsters, so on and so forth, Over Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Gears of War, and... Dead Rising?
Actually, I'd want to keep Dead Rising. (Not dissing 360, mind you, I do still need my Dead Rising)
Anyway, it really depends on what games appeal to you.

This is a very difficult choice. Getting a PS3 is cool, but no games compared to the 360. But the 360 has a lot of exclusive crap games and it still gets the red lights.
As for PS3 games, MGS4 is pretty much all I can think of getting. The other titles are a waste of money, just rent them a couple times and beat them. You'll save money. PS3 games tend to be on the short side anyways. It also depends on if your going to be online a lot. PS3 isn't too online happy. Community is smaller compared to the 360. But they did find the PS3's true potential (whatever that means), so you may see more game releases on the PS3.
I would choose a 360 just because I do like my killin games and I like online play. But your preference really.
