I use Owen Sael for Fiction, Owesome Scriptor for Programming Articles, and Optimist Shadow when I feel like it. If my series is ever published, expect it under the name Owen Sael.

Goodness, I've used Skyla Doragono for about six or seven years now, when I first started putting fan fics online.  I'm probably going to use it for anything I manage to get published too.

Keep in mind that just finishing a novel at 16 and managing to get a publisher to look at it isn't as easy as it used to be.  Way back when young authors were a coveted treasure, especially if the writing was actually really freaking good.  Now, though, thanks to crap like Eragon, being a young author isn't a selling point anymore.

Mine used to be el felixio when I wrote crappy poems. Since my personal Rennaissance it was my name backwards, sometimes with "ian", "ia" or "ox" after it. I guess those aren't really pen-names as they don't hide my identity when my poetry is published, but oh well.

Felix is such a cute name :-3

Mike Potter. Then I found out it's a relative's name (note, relative by marriage). oops!

I often use Demos, but if I had to use a real pen name, it would be Max Dracor. It's weird, but so am I.

It came about because a friend of mine had trouble pronouncing my name (it sounds out for christ's sake!) and it stuck because I always look stoned.

Yes, and *cough* I'm very happy for you. Now, let's not derail this.

I like you.

Meh, I haven't really published anything... ever.  I write and draw a lot in my spare time, but I never really ever have the balls to let anyone see it.  If I did, though, and I decided to use a pen name, I'd use something really common and easy to remember, like Bill Lawrence.

And since there's probably a lot of people with that name, I'd throw an initial at the beginning, like H. Bill Lawrence.  Yeah.  H. Bill Lawrence.  Sounds catchy to me.

...and I think Chimmy is a fine name to see on a wall somewhere accompanied by something strange in ink.

Agreed. Next to swear-words and other foul misgivings, 'Chimmy' written in black would be the favoured alternative. Do you do large tags? Or just a smaller scribble?

Just 'samboy' for me, basically because I can never remember how to spell Ñ

hey guys this isn't "lol whats your sceeen name" a pen name of psuedonym for ACTUAL PUBLISHED WORKS is something entirely different. anyone who is posting shit like "lordofevil28183" or something is TOTLALY OFF BASE

and a i guarantee in the slim chance that any of you guys get anything published you'd be using your real names so this thread could very easily be cut in half.

anyway i'd use my real name. seriously you don't really publish under a fake name unless you ahve a REASON TO

i've been tagging stuff with AA, so if you're ever in a public restroom in north carolina and see AA written on the wall (sometimes circled, sometimes not), think of me.

other than that the only stuff i WRITE literature-wise is IF, and i do that under "shepherd". if i were to write  a novel or something i'd use my real name.
