Parking attendants.

I don't mean the ones intent on fining anybody. But when you've got some jerk who thinks it's ok to park on a frigging island, it's sooo satisfying to see them get a ticket.

There's a small bus stop by me, with a small layby for the bus to pull in to.

I drove past it today, to see the bus parked on the other side of the road (it has to wait or it screws up everyone's timetables), so no-one could get past. Why? In the layby was parked 2 cars, a van, a coach, and a frigging articulated car carrier carrying 10 Land Rovers. In a bus stop. And there was the friendly parking attendant, just in time.
