What is the biggest risk you ever took in your life so far?

In June I rode my bicycle from Fredericton, New Brunswick to Hamilton, Ontario! I slept on a lot of random stranger's couches. I also knocked on a few random doors and asked if I could camp in their backyard. It was pretty fun.

It was about 1600 km, or roughly 1000 miles.

moved from California to Florida at age 19, with nothing but a 1992 Ford Escort, a TV, my cat, and a week's worth of clothing.

i didn't become a hobo so i guess i succeeded? shrug

I hope you still have that Escort. Escorts last FOREVER with basic maintenance and parts are dirt cheap because salvage yards have all sorts of scrap for them lying around since its all interchangeable. Most Mustang, Ranger, and Explorer parts from the same year work in an Escort.
