What do you want in an rp?

This is more of the content of an rp down to the slightest detail.

it could be from you want it based around combat, exploration, creation ect
to you want a purple lizard with an Afro telling us where to go

absolutely any ideas are welcome
So (Jbrist, moog, boon) if you don't want to don't be serious i wanna get an idea from everyone so we all like the rp we play.
if enough ideas come in I'll create a poll and whichever gets the most votes i will make into an rp

Ive always thought a good idea for an RP would be to have a sci-fi like theme where there are two rivaling space nations battling it out on a destroyed spaceship. It wouldnt be like war, but sort of covert missions. You would have two separate teams and the whole point would be to kill eachother off or whatever.

I gave an idea, does that mean that any religion or beliefs that sacrificing yourself or your people to please your god is a lolspam troll?

The initial response from one reading that post is that of you trying to be funny guy. and bacon no offence and i don't wanna argue but Jbrist is right, i did say any ideas i'll admit it's a bit stupid and but i even put in that you have to be seious if you don't want to (but it aint there no more somehow) and if you thing about it you could have something based around that such as: We have to go sacrifice ourselves to jbrist (or whatever) but decide not and then we all are on the run from some ever growing cult.
And after all if scrificing ourselves to jbristanity isn't serious then how is a lizard with an afro telling us stuff (that was an example in the first post).
and i want to get ideas from everyone so that everyone is happy so we all have an rp that ev eryone likes playing and won't end before it begins.

Wow, I don't like you much, but atleast you know what I was getting at...

Basically, the idea would be that, the players have to decide who's going to be sacrificed, meaning that you'll basically have to give up your character in the roleplay so you'll no longer be involved (Like when your character dies in an RP it's game over for you)

Now onto your epicness, this may be quite a good idea, something like: we on the run from tis cult (Of jbristanity;D) and like after 12 weeks we all get captured and one of us has to die for the rescue attempt to succeed, this could be decided by may ways: such as it could be the person that doesn't post a lot, one who wants to quit, one who volenteers or if nobody wants to quit nobody voleneers and everybody post on a basis of 2 weeks or so we just pick names out of a hat.
Waddah ya think jbrist could it work?
any better ideas?

To be honest I'd like to see an entire board where everyone is in role play. I know that sounds really gay and lame. One where off topic posts are banned on sight, and everyone is uh idk, wyatt.
