A program that runs without you knowing it that got there without you wanting it. It may be doing harm to your computer, but it may just be adware or spyware.

A small, non-living, infectious agent that replicates in living cells. Since a virus doesn't have the means to replicate itself, it is, by definition, non-living, and this is not disputable.
