Ok, I'm am prepared to say that metal is not particularly worse than anything else. Anything else is just crazy, I'm sorry, but there it is.

Now, metal is crazy, that's far from the truth, if all you've heard about metal was some guitar shredding then you don't know much about it.
As far as I know I've listened to bands who played acoustic like no other band could do. Now saying Milk and Honey is the best sound ever recorded is a little too much man... Everything depends in the engineer recording the music, also in the type of music, in a studio classical music wont ever be recorded the same way as acoustic guitar par example, or even vocals, the mics are different and the techniques are different as well...
