I don't get the hate towards Bring Me The Horizon, I mean sure, they're not exactly amazing, but they're not bad either...

I just don't really like metalcore as much as I used to, and I find that Oli Sykes is a bad screamer/song writer

asides from that idk, guess they're jsut one of those bands that people hate on to try and seem more serious about the genre ¯\(ツ)/¯
