Sound Providers, OHMEGA WATTS, Mos Def, Common, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth (They're gangster rap, however, they sound much classier than most), CYNE, Joell Ortiz (some), Masta Ace,
You have to realize that the roots of rap are highly based around partying, and had little to do with social issues up until Grand Master Flash came out with the song "The Message". That's why you hear a lot of subjecting changing in rap songs, because rapping isn't about following a story.. it's about rhyming words together to sound good. If you listen to people like Slick Rick, you'll see that when rap follows a general plot line, high vocabulary ceases to exist.
TL;DR - Good luck finding rap that follows a general theme and has a point to them when you can't relate to rap considering the only songs that will make sense to you are the partying ones and ones made by shit white artists such as Atmosphere and Classified.
