And not really, that's just your opinion, there's no fact that it "shits all over" it, in my opinion In Waves is better than Like Light To Flies, however, if you said Washing Away Me In The Tides... then maybe I'd agree that it's a better song, since it IS my favourite song by 'em anyway, lol.

It was just one of the songs of Ascendancy. While it's true that LLTF shits all over In Waves is my opinion, there IS a difference in the power of the two songs. Hell, most of Ascendancy, with the exception of Departure and TEOFE, is much more powerful and in your face. I do think that In Waves is a good song, it just doesn't have the same umph that the other albums do. It just feels a little docile is all. I think, as in, my opinion, that LLTF or WAMITT shits all over In Waves in that regard.

Fun fact; the vocalist here is ex-guitarists of From First To Last.. And the more I listen to this song the more I wonder why FFTL has had 3 shitty vocalist while they had amazingly good one all the time (that never got to sing or scream)..
