Damn I REALLY hate spiders, I don't freeze when I see them, oh no, I jump and sprint out of the fucking room, leaving a white ghost behind me ! Their the most horrible and disgusting things ever, they look dirty as fuck, and I just don't like the fact that their so thin and move around like a pissed athlete trying to run the 110m hurdles !, the fact that they spin web out of their arse, and man, have you seen one close up ! I haven't in real life but in pictures and movies, those things scare me !, and to make it even worse, if my brother finds one, he'll try to throw it on me...

Venetia, think I'll be able to buy like 100 cans of that spray from eBay ? I'll need it !

I already started hacking aimlessly when I met those in the first dungeon. Can you imagine what happened when armogohma appeared? I wnet on pause for about five minutes, until I made it clear to myself, that this is just a videogame. Still I was more the relieved when this thing finally died. >.<

I'm scared of needles from the dentist, and doctors... But I do Tattoos o.O lol (I have 2 so far I plan getting more within the year)

I AM SO TERRIFIED of my ceiling fan dropping off and cutting me up as well as putting a CD in my computer then it shooting out hitting the walls then cutting my head off clean..

Yes these are serious I really am scared of these I'm sure I have more but when I come across them (like the last two [was trying to watch a dvd before bed and turned fan on and I remembered he phobias :which I'm still scared of:])

Rabbits.
I'm actually fairly timid around them.  I was just reminded of this - since I live in an area with very few of the bastards.

I watched and read Watership Down when I was extremely young.  Like young enough that I should be watching Sesame Street and all.  My mom used to read it to me, and I loved the movie.

If you don't know Watership Down it's a story involving a group of Rabbits fleeing their warren, home, in hope of escaping a horrible event that would destroy them all.  They end up finding other warrens, each with their own little type of symbolic government/political and social thought, and such - including a group that let themselves be poisoned and die (something inevitable anyway) since the farmer brings them food, and consider it a fair trade.  Anyway they find a very tyrannical chief rabbit named General Woundwort, who scared the living crap out of me apparently.

His battle with Big Wig in the cartoon is permanently lodged in my memory.  Something abut seeing rabbits battle, biting each other's ears all bloody and stuff just freaked me the hell out.

This thread is so full of spider hate, it makes me sad  :sad:

I guess I have mild claustrophobia. I hate crowded areas and being closed in tight spaces really does scare me. I am also afraid of falling, not heights though. I could ride the highest roller coaster in the world, but looking over a ledge with just railing between me and my doom bothers me.

Arachnophobia, Claustrophobia, and fear of needles are my big ones. I'm also afraid of train tracks oddly enough.

I'm pretty claustrophobic myself. I have a real problem with crowds and people in general, too. They aid my claustrophobia. I have a hard time hugging for a long period of time. If I can't move my limbs it really bothers me, to the point of downright fear. The darkness also frightens me, not because it's dark, but because it makes me claustrophobic--it makes me feel like I'm surrounded by black walls or something.

When I was a little kid (maybe 6 or 7) I got trapped in one of those spiral slides at the playground. I was always much taller than the other kids and I guess I was too big for the slide. Anyway, I was stuck because I think I had tucked my legs up and they wedged me into the slide against my hips. I was trying to crawl out by going up since down wasn't an option, but then a toddler came down onto my head. He was so scared he wet himself and he started wailing like crazy. I had come alone (as I always did; far be it from my parents to actually take me somewhere), and it took forever for the toddler's dad to realize the kid hadn't come out the other side. Then I had to walk home with baby pee in my hair.

It's easy to see why I'm so claustrophobic now :<

This thread is going to turn into a bawwfest sooner or later so I may as well do it right now!

I'm terribly afraid of roads, cars, bikes, all that jazz. When I was 15, I was walking up to Wumpi's house with her and everything was fine until my stepfather saw me and decided to stop and give me a lift. He's incompetent and managed to skid the car and hit me on the pavement. He crushed my ankle, got me three weeks in hospital, a metal ankle, six more weeks in a cast and a morphine dependancy that still lasts today.

Now I have to listen to music when I'm near a road, because the sound of a car rushing up behind me scares me to no end. I can't walk against traffic because THERE ARE PILES OF METAL RUSHING AT ME HOLY SHIT, and I can't cross a road unless there are absoloutley no vehicles in sight  :brow:

I got hit by a car too, and for half the year I couldn't walk -with- traffic, because every time I heard a car coming up behind me, I'd jump to the right. Walking against traffic was easy though, since I could see them coming and they didn't scare me as much.

I really just got over it about a month ago.

Now I'm afraid of intimacy.
