Wesker

Albert Wesker a former researcher for Umbrella. However the final battle against Umbrella has not taken place yet and it won't in the up coming game.

Wesker is a clever and yet unique villain. I've been watching the game series videos on youtube. In some ways he reminds of Kefka by raising to the top. Yet he remains me of Sigma with his knowledge of technology and the enemy.

However after watching the ending to the Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Wesker has a plan for the world. What is it?

He also has Steve's body from Resident Evil Code: Veronica. He stated his men has his body. So he got his own organization that has yet to raise from the shadows.

Yet we know so much about him but we also know very little of him.

What are your thoughts on this villain?

Wesker...

Well... Let's just say that I think he is quite an enigmatic villain.

But that's most likely because I think Capcom doesn't quite know what they are going to do with him yet. Hence, his role in the story has been very much in the background since the first RE game. The mysterious bad guy in the background. That's been this role since then. I kind of wish Capcom would bring him to fore front since he does seem like an interesting character.

It's almost like Ocelot from MGS. First game you don't know what the deal is with him, who he is or who he works for... Second game comes around, you still don't know what the deal is with him, but it's part a plan apparently. He's never a main villain until MGS4 when he finally explained. And what a twisted and convoluted explanation it turns out to be...
I have a feeling that's kind of what will happen with Wesker when and if Capcom ever makes him a main villain in a RE game again.
