Weird event error.

So I have this event, two men talking.  One of them is a party member and after the conversation is done he walks back and disappears into the main character.  All fine and good right?  Except for after he walks back into the party the entire conversation happens one more time, just one, not the external repeat you get when you forget to cap off with a control switch at the end.

Screen shots of the event are in the spoiler tags.  You'll notice I have it on autorun, but if I put it in Parallel Process then everything up to the animation repeats once.

This often happens due to the fact that it skips certain commands happening straight after a call script. This might be the cause here, I have had such experiences in the past. Try adding a wait command (like wait 10) right after the last call script you use and see if this work.

That seemed to work, thanks for the help.

Why did you capatalize kitchen in the middle of a sentence, anyway? o.o'

Probably because I'm an idiot.  Earlier in the game I typed a character saying:  "I'm coming with, that jerk can use a could kick to the butt!"

I tend to make typos the first time through than go back and fix what I find later.
