Web developing

Ok, so, a friend of mine managed to get a hold of some webspace, and so now we're in the process of creating a web site, complete with forums and etc, for our future guild for the game Aion (not yet released in the US).

I've just got a few questions..

First, where can I find a site that has lots of information on html coding? I'd like a place that has, preferably, indexed pages on info such as creating a form for user logins, maybe something to create better looking tables, etc. Any info on that would be appreciated.

Last.. uhh.. well, I guess any extra tips that anyone might have would be welcome.

Tips

Also try using the "View Source" for any page it is the fastest way (in my opinion) to learn HTML, DHTL, XHTML, and CSS.

Looks okay in IE7. To much grey (or paper white though). Also any reason you don't have a .com/.net/.org?

Updated site with SMF forums instead of phpbb3.. I like SMF much better.

As far as not having the .com/net/org.. well, I guess this new site kind of nulls your question :P Get much more bandwidth and web space on this new one, too.. 5gb space and 500gb of bandwidth as opposed to 1gb space and 10gb bandwidth..

Where is there too much grey? Take a look at the new link and see if it's still the same for you?

EDIT: Also, anyone who has any interest in playing Aion once it's released to the states, and if you're looking for a guild/legion to join, feel free to apply to the forums for the hell of it.
