weapon icons need critique

Hey everybody names Alex, I've dabbled in pixel art for about 6 years or so now but never really got any good at it. Mostly because I would go back and forth from playing games, to making pixel art, to making games, and tried to balance school and work at the same time. I'm out of school now and want to get back into pixel art seriously again so I pulled up paint found some old palettes and started making a few weapon icons.

I started off with the simple generic sword made a couple of those and they turned out all right but when I tried to make a complex sword or a hammer I just lost it. Here's the 4 Icons I've made so far the two on the right I think need the most critique but I'd love critique on any and all of them.

The first two swords I made with no reference the hammer (3rd from the left) i used the dwarven work hammer in this picture as the reference.

And the complicated sword which I know looks nothing like it is supposed to be Chaoseater, War's sword from Darksiders.

They are 24x24 icons by the way.

Thanks in advance for any critique or help.

The first few are decent but the last one doesn't look very sharp, due to the lineart. I know it's hard to cram that sword into 24x24 pixels, but maybe losing a few minor details (one edge on both sides) would help. The red handle of the hammer could use darker outlining. Also, the flat end of the hammer could be larger and more outlined, because the eye tends to focus on the inner handle part.

As a guide, remember to use
