wavering screen = just lag?

so i was working on a map and i go to playtest it, but i notice the top and bottom part of my playtest screen waver when i move, but stops when i stop moving my character. is this just lag? this is JUST a map, no events on it yet or anything. and ive experienced lag before, but not this... i tried removing recent scripts and the like, but no change... :\

ideas anyone?

Um...try making a New Project with a similar map and see if it does the same thing. If it doesn't, it's likely that a script is messing things up on your other project. But if it does, it could be like a video driver issue...

Also, if you are in windowed mode (press Alt+Enter to toggle window mode), if you press F2 you can see the FPS. If you are in Smooth Mode, it should be at around 40 FPS. Then you could see if it really is lag.

You shouldn't be running smooth mode unless you're getting 40 FPS. Otherwise you should really have smooth mode off because it's not keeping up with the framerate and thus you'll be getting lag occassionally.

So it does or does not do the "wavering" thing in non-smooth mode?
