Walking on Black Tile?

Hey Y'all!
I'm making this here game ya' see where the hero needs to;
1. Throw the grapple over the wall.
2. Sneak through a small area into the guards quarters.

How do I create a black tile that the hero can walk on? Every time I try, the hero can't move.

EDIT: The blue is where I need my hero to walk on black tiles.

Open up VX, Press F3 or click mode, passage settings. Then, look at the tiles on the left, they should have a bunch of X's and O's. The X means the character cannot pass through it, the O means the character can. Simply click on a tile to change the passage setting. Hope that helped.

Or you could just use a set move route and turn through on for the player and he can just do it that way.
