[VX] Where the heck is the tilesets?

I want to export the metal grate-platform thingy from tileset A (the one that's with all those cool light platform tiles) and turn it into a new tileset and put it as Tileset E so that I can put it over top of the water.

But I can't find the stupid things in any files on my computer!  Where are they?

What you need to do is go to the resource manager, and go to system, and then export Tile A-4 (I think! Use preview to check.) I hope I could help!

It's under Tile A-5 In System. Export it, edit the Light tile out, and enjoy. :smile:

Sorry for being off-topic but is there a way to IMPORT tilesets into A, B, C, or D?  :crazy:

Import files with the correct name (TileA1, TileA2, TileB etc.) into the system folder.

But say, I wanted to merge the two tilesets. For example RMXP's Forest tileset with Tileset A, is that possible?

Open up Tileset A in your graphics program, copy and paste in the required tiles, then reimport it using the Resource Manager.
That's it, unfortunately.

Ohh, I was looking for a part of the Resource Manager called "tilesets" like in XP.  Thanks for the help guys.

It is really sad how VX is set up compared to XP... i would keep using XP but it lags like crazy at only 28FPS.. plus it lacks things like encounter areas and so on.. in those aspects VX is better..

hey im upgrading the way VX looks, and transforming autotiles to fit VX. i finished a set so u can use XP characters check it out, just replace files in Graphics/system folder
