VX Templates

I haven’t seen anything for it yet. Just mostly the HK and XP ones but I'm trying to make a base template of VX characters to sprite off of. I will admit I’m a beginner but watched a few tutorials and feel like a pro now lol jk. How does the shading on this guy look. I just stripped him of his worldly goods except his shoes

I just started with the front view and figured I'd ask the experts before doing all 16.

For some reason I kind of like these little characters like FF4 and FF5 then the XP ones like Breathe of Fire and Chrono Trigger


If anyone has made any templates already please post =)
