VX - Simple Soldier Episode 1

Hello, and welcome to my first VX game project WIP. Read on for information regarding this project.

TITLE
Simple Soldier - Episode 1

STORY
The only story to this game really is that a single Dwarven soldier wants to go on an adventure, and he had one right out of his house just this morning! He wishes to learn something new so he will speak with his neighbors who are in a distress. Four thugs have stolen four crystals and Mr. Dwarf is asked to retrieve them.

HERO
Gabbin the Dwarf has his ambitions set on doing something new, and learning the basics and perhaps some other things. Gabbin is playing the role of ME, and this is my attempt at my first RMVX project.

PURPOSE
The purpose of this project, to sum it up, is to familiarize myself with RMVX and it's new features, as well as the ones common to XP. Set out on a four part episode to gather four crystals that have been taken. Each episode will include a set of new features that RMVX offers. Each episode will also last longer than the previous one.

Installation - Simply Extract the contents to your chosen folder. Play. The installer will only copy files to a folder. After which, if you want you can add a shortcut to your desktop, and the only thing you have to do to REMOVE the game is to delete the shortcut, and delete the game folder. Nothing else will be left behind.

ENTER = Action / Talk / Interact
SHIFT = Hold to Dash While Moving

I'll release episode 2 when I can. Mostly, if anyone wants to have an episode 2. I will document episodes 2-4 better before I actually start adding the events etc to the game. I did as-I-went for episode 1. I still need to finish up my other RMXP project as well. I just wanted to WiP out something for VX.

Maps: Are not so cool but I think they can have the mark 8/10, because I know... In VX we can't do so many things... =]
Story: Old and so much used style... I don't like so much... Crystals *_*

And too, your project haven't got any system :/

But I will play after, because I'm not in my pc ^^

Yeah, let me know after you've played it.

Yes, the feel can be cliche', but that's how I intended it. This is just a practice run. I haven't planed on making any cool system for this game series, but I have got some ideas for another game, and are working on my own battle system.  This is only episode 1, and I've plans for other nice things in the other episodes. This will only be a short series nevertheless.

I know I still need to work on making some nice looking maps. It is a bit constricted with VX making maps, yes. There were a few things I wanted to do with the maps but I'd have to add or edit the current tilesets to do so.
