VX scripts with XP noteboxes

I found a script that lets you use rgss2 with RPG Maker XP but most of the scripts I want to use that are rgss2 use the item noteboxes. Since XP doesn't have noteboxes, is there a way to still use this scripts or where else would I put the information that is needed in the noteboxes? Here is the link to the script I posted:

I would like to use Modern Algebra's grid inventory script which is in rgss2 but even if it is possible to use the script with XP, there is no option for noteboxes in XP.

If you want to use them plug-and-play, your only choice is to write the note field in the rxdata files yourself. I'm not sure how they're encrypted, but you can access them with Marshal.load and .dump respectively.
Note that this is an advanced thing you gotta do... if you can't script at all, or aren't particularily decent at it, you're better off finding another way home... or someone who scripts it for you.
