VX Maps Question

I am working on project in RMVX and I heard that the program comes with a set of example maps, but I cant find them. If I heard wrong, I apologize in advance. If not, could someone upload them? Im trying to test some of the story I wrote, yet I suck at mapping and until I find a mapper who will contribute to my project Id like some practice stuff.

So, if anyone knows or has them (if they exist) if you could link them.

Look for your RMVX folder (you might have a couple different ones, but this one might be named something like RPGMAKERVX1.02).  In this folder you should see folders such as "Extra", "RPGVX", and "RPGVX_RTP". You want to go into the "Extra" folder, and in that folder should be a "SampleMap" folder. Open the project file, and there will be a couple dozen example maps there for you. Of course, if you still can't find it, you can always use Window's Search feature (just search for that "SampleMap" folder).

Ok so I checked and I dont have them for some reason.

Hmm...

It's in a folder called "Extras" , if you can't find it..you likely didn't (assuming) use the bonus disk that came with the JP version, or you installed the maker in some wacky place its hard to find.

It's in the install folder, if you can't find it, just download the installer again, expand it, and look n it for the folder called extras

Well you can always download the trial verson off the rmxp anoucments. You dont needa install the whole thing again just transfer the game folder calles [ Sample Maps ]
