Is it possible to create a script for animated parallax backgrounds? I think this would be useful function for people who want to make maps using parallax backgrounds (such as myself) but still want things like moving water, maybe wind-swept trees, etc.
Basically, something like Dragor's Animated Windowskins, only with a set of parallax backgrounds- for example, the parallax background for a forest would have... oh... four frames of animation, and the files would for it would be Forest-1.png, Forest-2.png ... up to 4.
Or would something like that cause too much lag? Are there ways to get animated motion in a parallax map without such a script?
I'm more of an art type person who focuses on how things look, so scripts and such can be a foreign language to me sometimes.
Thanks!
