Vampyr Net

Ok, so i'm using Vampyr net, and all of it works fine except for one bit. The premade characters that come with the game (test) can login and do whatever they please, however when i create a new character and try to log in it says "Unable to find data/map000" why is this, in data i have maps 1 through 4, and i've even tried copying map1 and making it map0 but it won't work.. Can anyone give me a hand with this?

This problem has already been solved when you first posted the question, the premade characters have been saved to a map where they had a Player Start Event. Simply place a Player Start Event on whatever map you wish players to start on and the error will vanish.

Oh thanks! sorry i didn't realise i had posted here :S incredibly sorry mods!

edit: new problem. Now that you've told me that i have placed numerous starting positions (liek different times of course) but everytime i log in with the character instead of going to that map it stays on the character select map like all the character selcting options are gone and so on but the map is the same.

Having no experience with the script but knowing that scripts of this sense are very complex and if errors are occuring this early and proving impossible for you to fix alone, on my advice would be learn the language and try and fix any problems yourself or give up.

Learn rgss or not. I don't need to give up ^^ no point to that :P I'll just keep asking around to see if anyone knows =)
