Using pictures for battle anim?

Is there a way to use pictures for battle animation? I think this can be done using scripts. But is there any other way

Well, sure.  You can also have a skill call a common event, and the common event can Show Pictures, Move Pictures, whatever.  If you do this, the event will run after the attack resolves, so you should probably combine the Show Pictures with Force Action so that they both activate at once.
