"Unexpected File Format"

Okay so I was working on my game and i saved and exited the program.
Following which i robooted my computer (to fix net problems).

Now i come back to my game and i get an error when trying to load it up into RMXP "Unexpected File Format".
When i try to load the game itself i get "Failed to load script".

Anyone know what went wrong and how I would go about fixing this?

Thanks in advance,
~Patriclis

Never had this problem before. Can you check if you can open the Game.rxproj file directly from your game folder (if it opens up RMXP when you open it)? If you can't, there's something wrong with that file. Though since the RGSS Player failed to load script, I don't see what you might've done.

Did you do anything? Anything at all, before rebooting, that may've affected your game files?

Tried going into the folder itself and loading the file itself. Got the same error.
Before rebooting i did restart my modem... but i dont see how that would effect anything.

You might've had the editor left open when you rebooted. I'm not certain on the specifics, but that causes shit.

And, sadly. You can't fix it. What you could try to do to salvage the most of your project is to replace all the rxdata in the data folder one at the time until you find which one is defective. I'd try replacing script.rxdata first.
